Christo Ruppenthal

The Madison Music Collective and Arts + Literature Laboratory present original music from award-winning multi-instrumentalist and improviser Christo Ruppenthal.

Chris Ruppenthal is a specialist in Django Reinhardt style Jazz Manouche guitar, Hot Hawaiian lap steel guitar, and ukulele. He will present an evening of his jazz compositions, including “Hot Club” swing, jazz, latin-infused, and waltz pieces from his recently released all original solo record, Café Allongé. For this special event, he will be accompanied by his Novelty Combo and special guest Greg Smith (woodwinds)
