Cool School

Cool School will be resuming at Cafe Coda on Saturday, September 16th at 10 AM and will occur every Saturday morning thereafter. For those of you who don’t know, Cool School is a FREE jazz improvisation workshop targeted towards kids (although anyone can attend). September 16th will be the day for orientation and registration so please try and make it if you can.

Every week, we will concentrate on one specific instrument family. We will have a general session then break up to smaller groups for more in-depth instruction with various instructors. Stay tuned for more information on what instruments will be the focus and on what days.

Ages 7-13 will be the first group at 10 AM; advanced students attend second group at 11:30 AM.

No experience is necessary and instruments are provided to those who need them. 🎺🥁🎷
