Buy TicketsDave Bayles has performed at many national venues with recording credits including the Luis Diaz Quintet, Curt Hanrahan Quintet, the Juli Wood Quintet , Steve Wiest Big Band, We Six, Jeanne Woodall, Eric Jacobson, Paul Silbergleit and the Hal Leonard Corporation. Soon to be released Dave Bayles Quintet featuring alto saxophonist/composer, Kim Richmond and The Dave Bayles Trio“ Live From The Uptowner” featuring Russ Johnson and Clay Schaub. He is a clinician for Yamaha Music Corporation and Zildjian Cymbals and is also on faculty at Universities of Wisconsin-Parkside and Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Jazz Institute.
Russ Johnson has spent 23 years as an important member of the New York City’s jazz community. He has 7 recordings as a leader or co-leader and performed on more than 75 recordings as a sideman. Russ has worked alongside many of the legendary figures in jazz including Lee Konitz, Steve Swallow, Bill Frisell, and Joe Lovano. In addition, he has performed in more than 40 countries. His groups have recently performed at the Winter Jazz Fest, Hyde Park Jazz Fest and Bergamo, Italy Jazz Fest.Clay Schaub has been a professional bassist since 2000 and has worked for years in New York City, performing regularly with Greg Ruggiero, Michael Kanan, Gregory Tardy, Bob Mover, Frank Morgan, Joe Bonner… Moving to Milwaukee in January of 2013, Clay carries on making music with friends, composing, teaching, and raising a family – all with great joy.
