Feestet (pronounced “Feest-tet”) is a Madison-based “gateway jazz” ensemble fronted by vocalist Helen Feest.
Weather pending, Feestet will perform on the patio as a trio–with Frank McKearn IV on the Electronic Valve Instrument. A 1970’s analog synthesizer with 7 octave range, the EVI showcases both Frank’s trumpet chops and bass experience. They are joined by the project’s primary composer/arranger, Anthony Utehs, on guitar.
