6-7PM Workshop “How to Approach Jazz from the Roots Music.”
Open to all levels of players. Mike Bezin (trumpet/ trombone) founder of Chicago’s West End Jazz Band will talk about early jazz. How to approach and recapture the roots of the music and ways to learn to improvise over it. prepare by listening to and beginning to learn these 3 tunes:
